Our Mission

Rooted in Community (RIC) is a national grassroots network cultivating youth leadership in food, land, and climate justice—rooted in accountability, care, and community power. We bring together young people and intergenerational allies to build environmental resilience, food sovereignty, and environmental justice through agriculture, organizing, and systems-change work. We believe youth are not just the future of the movement—they are leaders now.
